Ankur Shrivastava

Ankur is the Founder & Managing Partner at Momentum Capital, which he launched in 2022. He has over two decades of professional experience, with the past decade as a founder and investor in India & North America. He's led all of Momentum Capital's 20+ investments in climate tech and health tech across the two continents.

He previously co-founded & scaled Globevestor, a technology startup in venture capital space, which was angel funded by Tim Draper, Bill Draper, and Boost VC. Between 2014-21, the startup built a network of 1000+ CXOs from 25+ countries and had assets-under-management of $15 million. Ankur led Globevestor’s nearly 70 investments in over 40 startups in India & the US, with several successes, including Agnikul, Chakr Innovation, Oorjan, Good Health Company, Zoomcar, Snapmint, Wealthy, and others across climate, health, deeptech, and other diverse spaces. This portfolio raised nearly half a billion dollars in follow-on funding from marquee global investors and was collectively valued at $1.7B+ at the peak, including a listing on NASDAQ.

Formerly, Ankur spent a decade in strategy consulting at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and Strategic Decisions Group (SDG), advising clients across Asia & Africa. He holds post-graduate & graduate mechanical engineering degrees from IIT Bombay, India. He lives in Toronto and is a doting father to two girls, for whom he wants to build a better world.

Bharti Singhla

Bharti is a successful climate tech entrepreneur and business leader with about 8 years of experience, and has been associated with Momentum Capital since 2023. She's spearheaded the firm's climate tech work and 15+ investments across India and the US.

She completed her joint MBA & MS in Environmental Science from Stanford in 2025. Prior to Stanford, she was the Co-founder and COO at Chakr Innovation, a hardware cleantech startup in India. Chakr built innovative retrofit devices to reduce black carbon emissions from diesel generators used in industries and commercial buildings in India. Bharti led the company's scaleup from Pre-Seed to Series B, raised funds from global PE/VCs, grew its team to 150+ members, and reached annual revenue runrate of $30M.

Before Chakr, she also spent a couple of years as a management consultant at Boston Consulting Group (BCG). Owing to her childhood in the rural Himalayas in India, she believes in living in harmony with nature. She holds and undergraduate chemical engineering degree from IIT Delhi, and is passionate about hardware climate tech solutions.

Atharva Wagle

Atharva brings a mix of a technology bent & financial chops to Momentum Capital, and has been with the team since late 2024. He's received his bachelors and masters degrees in chemical engineering from IIT Kharagpur, India. He is also a certified Level 3 financial analyst by the CFA Institute.

Atharva is the usually the first contact for founders with Momentum Capital, and uses his exceptional analytical and communication skills to enrich Momentum's deal sourcing, diligence and research. In the fall, he is headed to the Wharton School of Business.

Prior to Momentum, he worked as a senior analyst with Deutsche Bank's Mumbai office for a couple of years, dealing with counterparty portfolio management. At the university, he was a regular member of the students' alumni cell, as well as the dramatics society.

Adeo Ressi

Adeo Ressi is CEO of VC Lab and the chairman of the Founder Institute, a startup launch program that operates in over 200 cities worldwide, and he is a recognized mentor for fast growing technology businesses. He has pioneered innovations in the protection of founder rights, the raising of early stage capital and the scaling of new businesses.

Previous to the Founder Institute, Adeo has helped to create nearly $2 billion in shareholder value by founding or running nine businesses, including TheFunded, Game Trust, Xceed and Total New York. In addition, the Founder Institute has helped to create approximately $35 billion more in shareholder value by launching over 4,500 technology companies that have raised an estimated $1 billion from investors.

Adeo previously served on the Board of the X Prize foundation to pursue his interests in space exploration and techniques to motivate human achievement. He studied architecture and spent time living on a commune to explore his interests in designing better ways to live. Adeo is passionate about inspiring people to achieve greatness.

Mike Suprovici

Mike has helped hundreds of emerging VCs launch their firms globally as the Head of Acceleration for the VC Lab program.

Prior to VC Lab, he co-lead investor relations for 200+ LPs as the Manager of the Founder Institute Select Index program where he has helped launch 13 new funds. He was also Managing Director of Portfolio Success at FI where he oversaw FI’s 6k+ company portfolio and helped 300+ start-ups a year raise capital.

Prior to joining the Founder Institute, Mike was the founder and CEO at Explorence, a seed-funded startup that developed iOS apps focused on turning outdoor recreational activities into real life video games. Mike recruited the team, launched 5 iOS apps and raised funding. Specialities: Fundraising, Startups, Product Management, Product Development, Recruiting, iOS Development, Design, Analytics, Business Development, and Sales.

Bill Draper

Having begun his venture capital career in 1959, William H. Draper III is one of America’s first venture capitalists. Today, he is Managing Director of Draper Richards L.P and Draper International. He serves as the Co-Chairman of the Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation. Mr. Draper is also author of the book “The Startup Game: Inside the Partnership between Venture Capitalists and Entrepreneurs.”

In 1965, Mr. Draper founded Sutter Hill Ventures. From 1981 to 1986, he was President and Chairman of the Export-Import Bank of the United States. Thereafter, Mr. Draper was the head of the United Nations Development Program from 1986 to 1993 and oversaw nearly 10,000 international aid projects. Mr. Draper formerly served as the Chairman of the World Affairs Council of Northern California, Chairman of the Institute of International Education, Trustee of Yale University, and as Chairman of the Board of the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco.

Mr. Draper received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University in 1950 and an MBA, with distinction, from the Harvard Business School in 1954.

Adam Draper

Adam Draper is the founder and managing director of Boost VC. Adam is a 2x entrepreneur and a 4th generation venture capitalist.

For Adam, no idea is too crazy. He dreams of building an ironman suit and leads the deals in the wildest SciFi Tech investments - exoskeletons, jetpacks, rockets. Go big or go home. The focus of Boost VC on future technology development stems from Adam Draper’s dream to create an Iron Man suit. He co-founded Boost VC after his success as an Angel Investor in companies like Coinbase, Amplitude and Plangrid.

In a previous life, he wanted to be a professional tennis player and has an odd affinity for Australians. He once drank an entire bottle of tabasco sauce (the big ones) in 43 seconds. 4th generation venture capitalist, 2 time entrepreneur, and most importantly, he’s a friend.

Brayton Williams

Bay Area, US

Brayton has spent his career in finance working with too-big-to-fail Morgan Stanley in wealth management and then to a FinTech startup selling private company securities. Then in 2012 he joined his co-worker, Adam Draper, to start Boost VC. Brayton got rid of his apartment and moved into the dorms that house the portfolio companies as he launched the startup to fund startups. He can still be spotted heading to a room he keeps after late nights in the office.

Brayton likes to be first. He was the first member of Boost VC to buy a Bitcoin at but unfortunately also the first to sell. He was the first on the team to try virtual reality before it was widely available. But his most proud first moment is winning the California state free-throw championship at age 12.

At Boost VC, Brayton wears many hats but focuses on the 300+ portfolio alumni and their needs. If those don’t keep him busy enough, he also manages Boost VC’s finances, general operations, social media and investment decisions.
